There are a few things you can do to lower your car insurance premium.
Under the law in the state of New Jersey, all drivers are required to have liability insurance. This means a standard auto policy in New Jersey is required to have four lines of coverage: Personal Injury Protection (PIP), bodily injury liability (BI) coverage, uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage, and coverage for damage to someone else’s property (PD).
Collision coverage is optional in New Jersey, not a requirement. It can help you pay for physical damages to your car if you’re involved in a covered accident.
