Karen L. Stickel

Vice President, Claims

Karen is responsible for auto physical damage claims at Plymouth Rock. Under her leadership, Karen’s team enables customers and claimants to repair or replace their vehicles after a loss. She is also responsible for homeowner oil contamination claims. Karen has over 30 years of experience, having spent her entire career in claims or practicing law.

She joined Plymouth Rock in 2003 after holding various positions at Prudential. Most recently, she served as Office Manager. Prior to that role, she worked as an attorney for house council. Karen earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law and holds the distinction of being the first part-time student to graduate from the school as number one in a class. Karen is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

While attending law school, Karen was a Property Supervisor, Casualty Supervisor and Litigation Supervisor at Prudential. She got her start in insurance as a Claims Adjuster at Prudential. Karen holds a bachelors degree from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey), where she graduated with honors.

In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her two children in their historic Burlington City, NJ home.
