Winter break is on its way! It’s a great time to relax and get organized for the upcoming school session. And if you’re like me, sometimes finding inspiration is tough. So with some help from our friends at Teacher’s Insurance Plan I’ve rounded up some online resources for educators that offer tips, tricks, lesson plans and even recipes.
Discovery Education: Features free resources for grades K-12 and for various subjects, specifically science, English, social studies and math. You can also access their Lesson Plan Library that offers plans for grades K-12, plus you can search based on resource type.
WeAreTeachers: From grants and contests to lessons, resources, and hot topics, this site really does have it all. The best part? Their blog covers so many topics, including quick recipes and stress management and so much more.
TeachersFirst: Not only does this site offer ideas for lessons, it also offers reviewed resources for use in the classroom. With resources ranging from infographics to lesson plans, you’ll want to bookmark this site.
Edutopia: Created by the George Lucas Educational Foundation, this site really has some great information. The topics covered include common core, classroom management, blended learning, technology integration, teacher development and so much more.
The internet is a big place and offers a variety of great educational resources. What are your go-to online resources? What do you search for the most? Plymouth Rock in New Jersey wants to know!
