Summer has finally arrived! That means warm weather, barbecues, outside dining and most importantly … beach trips! On a hot, sunny day, the beach is a great place to take the entire family. Whether you want to relax and read a book, build a sandcastle, or play in the water, the beach has fun for everyone! If you live in New Hampshire or are just visiting, be sure to check out these beaches to get the most out of your beach trip:
Great Island Common
Although the beach itself may be small, there is a giant hill that offers a magnificent view of the sea. The area also has picnic tables and a large playground.

Jenness State Beach

North Beach State Park
This well-kept and beautiful beach is perfect for taking a walk or lying in the sun. However, before you go, make sure to check the tides, because during high tide the sand is covered!

Not only is the beach perfect for swimming, but it also offers canoe and kayak rentals, a playground, and a gift store.
