When contacting Plymouth Rock about a claim, please be ready to provide your name and address, names and addresses of any witnesses or injured parties, general loss information, and your Plymouth Rock policy number (if available). If you don’t have all of this information, do not wait to report the loss. Please report the claim with the information you have. The claim can be updated later once the information becomes available.
A police report is helpful in assisting with the reporting of a loss, but it is not mandatory. However, you may be required by law to report your accident to authorities. An accident can be reported with minimal information and a police report can be obtained later in the process.

New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law mandates that all involved drivers are required to file a Report of Motor Vehicle Accident (MV-104) with the DMV no more than 10 days after the accident if the accident involves $1,001 or more in property damage to any one person is injured or killed.

Never touch an electrical component while standing in water. If you can do so safely, turn off the electricity if there is standing water in your home.

Protect your property from further damage. This may include boarding up openings and salvaging undamaged items. In an emergency, your insurance provider can send out a contractor to help secure your home.

Requests for reimbursement may be sent to us by either email, fax or mail. Please be sure to include your full name, policy number and a copy of your roadside assistance receipt (invoice or bill from towing company, etc).
Customers may use this for a one way service home valued up to $50 once per policy year. Reimbursement will be made for documented expenses only.
