Understanding your repair shop options
As a Pilgrim Insurance customer, you can choose any registered repair shop, including one of our referral shops. By law, Pilgrim Insurance cannot pay for repairs performed by unregistered shop.
When you choose a Pilgrim referral shop:
Pay only your deductible
Your only out-of-pocket expense for covered repairs to your insured vehicle is your deductible.
Work that’s guaranteed
We guarantee the work fully for as long as you own or lease the vehicle.
No balance billing
You will never be balance billed by the shop.
Registered repair shops in your county
We provide a list of registered auto body repair shops in your county. Repair shops listed in bold are Pilgrim Insurance referral shops, selected for their commitment to quality repair work.
You may choose to have repairs done by a registered repair shop that is not one of our referral shops. However, those repairs are not guaranteed by Pilgrim.
The Pilgrim Insurance repair guarantee
When you choose a Pilgrim referral shop, we guarantee the quality and workmanship of covered repairs for as long as you own or lease your vehicle.
What we’ll correct
Pilgrim will arrange to correct any covered repair that fails to meet generally accepted industry standards for form, fit, finish, durability and functionality.
What’s not covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from improper maintenance, neglect or abuse
- Damage from subsequent accidents
- Work performed on covered repairs by anyone other than a Pilgrim referral shop
