Terms and Conditions for Electronic Delivery of Documents

In order to deliver documents to you electronically, we are required by law to provide you with the disclosures contained in these Terms and Conditions for Electronic Delivery and to obtain your consent.

These Terms and Conditions for Electronic Delivery apply to the Plymouth Rock companies. “Plymouth Rock” is a brand name and service mark used by separate underwriting, managed insurance, and management companies that offer property and casualty insurance in multiple states pursuant to licensing arrangements. The Plymouth Rock companies using these Terms and Conditions for Electronic Delivery include Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, Mt. Washington Assurance Corporation, Plymouth Rock Home Assurance Corporation, Bunker Hill Insurance Company, Bunker Hill Insurance Casualty Company, Bunker Hill Preferred Insurance Company, Bunker Hill Property Insurance Company, Pilgrim Insurance Company, Pilgrim Risk Management, LLC, Plymouth Rock Management Company of New Jersey, Palisades Safety Insurance Agency, Inc., Palisades Safety and Insurance Association, Palisades Insurance Company, Palisades Property and Casualty Insurance Company, High Point Preferred Insurance Company, High Point Safety and Insurance Company, High Point Property and Casualty Insurance Company, AtHome Insurance Company, High Point Brokerage Company, Inc., Twin Lights Insurance Company, Rider Insurance Company, Teachers Auto Insurance Company of New Jersey, Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation of New York, and Plymouth Rock Assurance Preferred Corporation, which also acts as administrative servicer for the New York business of 21st Century Advantage Insurance Company and 21st Century North America Insurance Company (collectively, the “Companies”).

Each of these separate companies is financially responsible only for its own insurance products. Actual coverage is subject to the language of the policies as issued by each separate company.

Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

THE COMPANIES MAY AMEND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ELECTRONIC DELIVERY AT ANY TIME. YOU ACCEPT AMENDMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BY YOUR CONTINUED USE OF ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTS, UNLESS AND UNTIL YOU NOTIFY US THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL ELECTRONIC DELIVERY.

These Terms and Conditions were last amended on May 31, 2022.

Your Consent

You consent to receive documents from the Companies by email. This consent relates to the following types of documents: insurance policy contracts and endorsement forms, declarations pages, coverage selections pages, evidence of insurance (including without limitation, insurance identification cards), vehicle and home inspection forms and related notices, underwriting questionnaires, regulatory notices, insurance policy cancellation and non-renewal notices, invoices, payment schedules and payment options, other customer service and underwriting communications, claims communications, other forms and informational notices related to your insurance policy(ies), information regarding additional programs and services that we offer, and general correspondence. The documents that you receive by email will have the same validity as documents that you would otherwise receive in paper form.

You may revoke your consent to receive electronic documents in order to resume receiving documents by U.S. Mail. As a result, please note that your policy premium may change. In order to discontinue delivery of documents by email, you will need to change your delivery preference by signing into your account at plymouthrock.com and clicking “Review Your Policy.”

Massachusetts Auto Insurance Consumer Information Guide

If you are a Massachusetts auto insurance customer of Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, by your consenting to electronic delivery of documents, one of the documents that will be delivered to you electronically is a consumer information guide. This informational guide is prepared by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. In addition to receiving this guide from the Company, you may access it on the Division of Insurance web site at: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/basics-of-auto-insurance. The guide contains important information regarding your insurance policy, your coverage options, how you can lower your premium, and other helpful information. If you have any questions about the guide or would like to request a free paper copy, please call one of our customer service representatives at 866-223-1106 or your Plymouth Rock Assurance agent.

Technology Requirements

To receive documents from the Companies by email you must have a computer with access to the internet and a current version of the free Adobe Reader software. As an option, if you would like to print your documents, a printer will be necessary. You represent that you have such required equipment. If we make any changes to the hardware or software required to receive documents by email, we will notify you.

Paper Copies

You may request a paper copy of any individual document by changing your document delivery preference by signing in to your account at plymouthrock.com and clicking “Review Your Policy.”

Change of Email Address

If your email address changes, you will need to update it by signing into your account at plymouthrock.com, clicking “Review Your Policy” and updating the My Profile section with your new e-mail address.

Inability to Deliver Documents by Email

If applicable law or system limitations prevent the Companies from delivering certain types of documents by email, the Companies will deliver them by U.S. Mail.

Discontinuation of Electronic Delivery

The Companies reserve the right to discontinue sending you any or all types of documents by e-mail at any time, in the Companies’ discretion, in which case we would deliver such documents by U.S. Mail.

Our Liability

THE COMPANIES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, (B) YOUR FAILURE TO ACCESS DOCUMENTS THAT ARE SENT TO YOU BY E-MAIL, (C) PROBLEMS OR TECHNICAL FAILURES WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT, (D) ANY ERRORS OR DELAYS IN COMMUNICATION OR TRANSMISSION LINES, OR (E) ANY OCCURRENCE BEYOND THE COMPANIES’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act

These terms and conditions and your receipt of documents from us by e-mail are governed by and construed in accordance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and applicable state law.
